Restaino, where did you get your economics degree from? The trickle up theory DOES NOT WORK! The idea is to tax evil rich companies and give that money to the lower class with the hope that the lower class will spend more and spur on the economy. The problem is that these terrible job-creating companies will increase the prices of their products to make up for the increased tax expense. So any extra money that the lower class gets will be eaten up by the higher prices of products. The economy will stagnate.

Even the article you cited says the economic situation — not Sarah Palin — is the reason for the shift in Obama’s favor.

Of course, I say again, Obama’s policies would be devastating to our economy. Hopefully, the American people won’t let us slouch towards Socialism.

you have to be the biggest idiot in the world to think Biden won that debate. Even with his 30+ years in the Senate, Palin not only held her own, but really got under Biden's skin a number of times, and you could tell just by looking at him and hearing his ridiculously audible sighs. And of course, Biden was lying through his condescending grin throughout the debate. I understand you want Obama/Biden to win, but that doesn't mean Biden won the debate just because he's your guy.

Obama’s current surge in the polls is connected to recent economic news. It has NOTHING to do with Sarah Palin.

Of course it is ironic that Obama would benefit from bad economic news since his policies would destroy the economy… but people tend to blame the party of the incumbent president…
